Archives are places where information and knowledge are made available, they preserve our cultural memory. With the increasing digitization of material documents and their transformation into intangible, virtual data, analogue archives tend to disappear. What and where lies the future of archival memories? Pia Pollmans‘ series documents different kinds of archives, ranging from governments to churches, business, media, district archives – a plea for the different types of archival storages.
